The No. 1 seeded Arizona Western Lady Matadors and the No. 2 seeded Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters meet in the Region I DI Volleyball final on Wednesday evening.

Both teams have qualified to play in one of the two Rocky Mountain District Finals next Monday and are playing for a right to host the Runner-up from Region 18.

The Lady Matadors and the Gila Monsters split a pair of matches in the regular season, each winning on the other team’s floor in straight sets. This is the second consecutive season the Lady Matadors and the Gila Monsters have met in the Region I final with Eastern Arizona winning last year’s meeting hosted by Arizona Western.
