CGCC Places Second in the Nation — #1 seed Chandler-Gilbertdropped a 3-0 decision to #2 seed Kishwaukee (30-28, 30-24, 30-28) in the Championship match of the 2006 NCAA Division II Volleyball National Championships. Jenna Mailou and KT Creech paced CGCC during the tourney and were named to the All-Tournament Team. | more |

AWC Falls at #10 Salt Lake in District Title Match — Arizona Western's run ended with a 3-0 loss to #10 ranked Salt Lake CC in the District A Championship Match. The match was much closer than the 3-0 score indicates as Salt Lake squeeked out 31-29, 31-29 and 30-25 game scores. | more |

Chandler-Gilbert Advances to D2 Nationals — Top seed Chandler-Gilbert swept through the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Tournament to advance to the Division 2 National Championships. CG defeated Scottsdale 3-1 in the title match. | more |

Arizona Western Advances to District Championship — Arizona Western defeated Yavapai 3-0 to capture the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Championship and advance to the District A Championships. AWC's Tagiafouga Wooley was named the Region I Division 1 Finals MVP. | more |

NJCAA Region I Playoff Schedules Set — Both the Region I's Division I and Division II tournaments will begin on Thursday, November 2nd. Arizona Westren will host Yavapai in the championship match of the Division I Tournament, while Chandler-Gilbert is the top-seed and will host the Division II event. | more |

C-G's Creech, Scottsdale's Mannix Receive Top ACCAC Honors — Chandler-Gilbert's Karen Creech has been named the 2006 ACCAC Player of the Year, while Scottsdale's Regina Mannix is the ACCAC's Coach of the Year. | more |

Glendale's Scott Tabbed ACCAC Player of the Week — After leading Glendale to a 2-1 record with over 100 assists, Calli Scott was named the ACCAC Player of the Week fo the final week of the regular season. | more |

Arizona Western's Paniagua Selected Player of the Week — Arizona Western went 2-1 on the week and was led by ACCAC Player of the Week Patty Paniagua. She averaged four kills, almost two blocks and over two digs per game. | more |

Bluth Helps Keep CGCC Unbeaten— Meagan Bluth connected on five kills per game as Chandler-Gilbert won a pair of matches to remain undefeated in ACCAC play. Bluth, who also connected for a .542 hitting percentage, was selected the Conference Player of the Week. | more |

Yavapai's East Tabbed ACCAC Player of the Week — Ellen East led Yavapai to a 1-1 record last week, averaging almost 10 assists and three digs per game, to earn ACCAC Player of the Week honors. | more |

SCC's DeWitt Ends C-G's Player of the Week Streak — After undefeated Chandler-Gilbert rang up three straight ACCAC Volleyball Player of the Week honors, Scottsdale's Chelsi DeWitt ended the streak by leading the Artichokes to three victories this past week. | more |

CGCC Remains Unbeaten, Garners Another ACCAC Honor — Chandler-Gilbert remained undefeated in ACCAC play and setter Jenna Mailou was a big reason as she earned the Conference's Player of the Week award. | more |

Palmer Tabbed ACCAC Player of the Week — Lindsay Palmer helped Chandler-Gilbert go 6-2 this past week to sit atop the ACCAC standings and earn her the Conference's Player of the Week award. | more|

CGCC's Creech Earns First Player of the Week Honor in 2006— Chandler-Gilbert's Karen Creech has been selected the ACCAC's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending September 9th. In leading the Lady Coyotes to a pair of ACCAC wins, Creech belted nearly six kills per game. | more |
