ACCAC Places Four on NJCAA Division II All-American Teams — The member teams of the ACCAC placed four players -- Phoenix' Sarah Teslevich, Scottsdale's Sharisa Shiflet and Heather Baron, and Glendale's Johanna Begay -- on the NJCAA Division II Volleyball All-American teams. More

Scottsdale's Season Ends in NJCAA Quarterfinals — Scottsdale fell in three straight games (30-22, 32-30, 30-23) to St. Claire (MI) CC in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Division II Volleyball National Championships. Championship Site

Scottsdale Wins Pair on Opening Day of National Championships — Scottsdale defeated Dodge City (KS) Community College 3-0 (30-21, 30-15, 30-19) and North Platte Community College out of Nebraska 3-1 (30-20, 30-25, 25-30, 30-19 ) on the opening day of the NJCAA Division II Volleyball National Championships. The Artichokes, the top seed in Pool B will take on the winner of the Independence CC/Kanakee CC match at 6 pm (CST) on Friday, Nov. 12. Championship Site

Scottsdale Captures Second Consecutive NJCAA Region I Division II Championship — Top-seeded Scottsdale cruised through the Region I Division II Tournament to advance to the NJCAA National Championships for the second consecutive season. The Artichokes defeated #3 seed Glendale 3-1 and were led by Tournament Co-MVPs Sharisa Shiflet and Heather Baron. More

Arizona Western Takes Region I Division I Title — Arizona Western defeated Eastern Arizona 3-0 to capture the NJCAA Region I Division I Tournament Championship. The Matadors now await the District Tournament and will face the champion out of Region 18. More

Lobstein Tabbed NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week — Phoenix College's Sarah Lobstein led the Bears to a pair of victories and a #2 seed in the upcoming NJCAA Region I Division II Tournament to earn the NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week award for the week ending October 31. More

ACCAC/NJCAA Region I Division II Volleyball Championships Set — Top seeded Scottsdale will host the 2004 ACCAC/NJCAA Region I Division II Tournament beginning Thursday, November 4th, and ending with the title game on Saturday, November 6th. View Bracket

Francescatto Earns Second Region Player of the Year Honor, PC's Mooney Tabbed Coach of the Year — Arizona Western's Ludmilla Francescatto has been selected the NJCAA Region I Player of the Year for the second consecutive year and Phoenix College's Pat Mooney has been tabbed the Region I Coach of the Year. Scottsdale had four players earn All-ACCAC honors. More

PC's Lobstein Selected ACCAC Player of the Week — Sarah Lobstein led Phoenix College to a pair of victories and helped the Bears take the #2 seed entering the NJCAA Region I Division II Tournament to earn the ACCAC Player of the Week award. More

Carroll Selected ACCAC Player of the Week — Chandler-Gilbert's Allison Carroll earned the ACCAC Player of the Week award after leading the Coyotes to a pair of victories. More

ACCAC Player of the Week Award Goes to Scottsdale's Shiflet — Setter Sharisa Shiflet led the Lady Artichokes to a win over Phoenix College with 46 assists and five blocks. More

Begay Tabbed NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week — Glendale's Johanna Begay led the Gauchos to a pair of victories with 54 kills and 42 digs to earn the NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week award for the week ending October 10. More

Glendale's Begay Spikes ACCAC Honor — With 54 kills and 42 digs in a pair of Glendale victories, Johanna Begay has earned the ACCAC's Player of the Week award for the week ending October 10. More

Ray Keeps Arizona Western Undefeated in ACCAC, Garners Award — Stacey Ray was named the ACCAC Player of the Week after leading Arizon Western to three ACCAC victories on the week. More

Phoenix' Teslevich First to Repeat as ACCAC Award Winner in 2004 — After leading the Bears to a pair of 3-0 ACCAC victories this past week, Phoenix College's Sarah Teslevich became the first player in 2004 to earn the ACCAC Player of the Week award for a second time. More

Ludmilla Francescatto Selected NJCAA Division I Volleyball Player of the Week — Arizona Western's Ludmilla Francescatto is the second volleyball player from the ACCAC to earn the NJCAA's top weekly honor. More

Francescatto Tabbed ACCAC POW — Arizona Western's Ludmilla Francescatto led the Lady Matadors to a victory over Scottsdale and a 5-3 record during the Matador Classic. More

Brown Attacking ACCAC Stat Leaders — Scottsdale's Heather Brown leads the ACCAC in kills (302) and kills per game (4.44). More

Baron Honored as ACCAC Player of the Week — Scottsdale's Heather Baron earned the ACCAC's weekly honor after leading the Lady Artichokes to a pair of 3-0 ACCAC victories. More

ACCAC Sports Pair of NJCAA National Players of the Week — Phoenix College's Sarah Teslevich was named the NJCAA National Division 2 Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending September 5th, while Yavapai's Todd Brown earned the same National honor in Division 1 men's soccer. More on Teslevich | More on Brown

Phoenix' Sarah Teslevich Tabbed ACCAC Player of the Week — Teslevich paced the Bears in the opening week by leading Phoenix to four victories in five matches. More

2004 Sophomore Volleyball Match Set — The ACCAC's 2004 Sophomore Volleyball Match has been set for February 17 at Mesa Community College. Practice will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., with games being played from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
