While at Phoenix, Barreras played in 20 games in her lone season with the Bears, allowing just 16 goals and recording 81 saves to help lead the Bears to the NJCAA Women's Soccer Championship, recording a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Lewis & Clark in pool play. Following her time at Phoenix, Barreras played two seasons at West Florida before embarking on her professional career with Pachuca.

As a sophomore, Espinoza tallied a pair of two-goal games and scored the game-winning goal in a 3-0 win over GateWay. Following her two seasons at Arizona Western, Espinoza went on to star at Oregon State University and then began her professional career with Tigres UANL.
