Pima captured both the men's and women's Region I Track and Field Championships held Tuesday and Thursday at Mesa Community College.
The Aztecs won the men's title with 224 points to 200 for Central Arizona. Mesa was third with 166.
On the women's side Pima scored 285 points to 232 for CAC. Mesa was again third with 157.
Each of the top three finishers in individual events receives all-region honors as do the top two relay teams.
Up next for ACCAC/Region I athletes is the NJCAA Division I National Championships which will be held May 11-13 at South Plains in Leveland, Texas.
