Jolissa Valdez – Eastern Arizona  – Valdez allowed just two earned runs and struck out 15 batters in 12 innings last week, helping the Gila Monsters to wins over Yavapai and Central Arizona.

Jaylene Tomlinson – Eastern Arizona – Tomlinson went 7-for-13 with three homers and eight runs batted in. The third baseman homered twice in a win over Yavapai and drove in five runs.

DII Pitcher

Sydney Haake – Phoenix – Haake went 2-0 with 16 strikeouts in three appearances last week for the Bears. The right-hander tossed 10.1 innings and allowed just one earned runs to help the Bears beat both Chandler-Gilbert and Scottsdale.

Riley Martens – Phoenix – Martens batted .500 in six games last week, driving in 15 runs. The first baseman homered four times and scored five runs while walking twice in wins over GateWay, Chandler-Gilbert and Scottsdale.
