Thatcher, AZ - The Eastern Arizona softball team has won the 2023 NJCAA Region I, Div. I Softball Championship against the Central Arizona Vaqueras.

The Gila Monsters won all three games at the Region I Tournament. Defeating Arizona Western in game one, 7-2, and beating CAC in games two and three, 4-1 and 9-0.

With the region title, EAC punched their ticket to the 2023 NJCAA Div. I Softball World Series in Oxford, AL.

The World Series will take place at Choccolocco Park from May 23rd through the 27th.
