Kacie Smith
Kacie Smith of Yavapai is the NJCAA Region 1 Division 1 Player of the Week. Smith batted .733 (11-15) for the week as Yavapai won all four of its games. Smith had 10 RBI, one homerun, six stolen bases, and scored nine runs.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Jenna Rodriguez
Yavapai's Jenna Rodriguez is the NJCAA Region 1 Division 2 Pitcher of the Week. Rodriguez went 3-0 on the week for the Lady Roughriders. She gave up four hits in 10 innings in winning a pair of games against GateWay. Rodriguez won her third game of the week against Tallahassee by allowing just one earned run.

Noe Esperas
Eastern Arizona's Noe Esperas is the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Pitcher of the Week. Esperas won three games last week for the #1 ranked Gila Monsters. Esperas had a two-hit shutout against Seward, gave up one run in four innings in a win against Mesa, and pitched a no hitter against Odessa.

Lacy Goodman
Phoenix College's Lacy Goodman is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Player of the Week. Goodman helped the Lady Bears to a 10-0 record on the week by batting .617 (21-34). She also posted 16 runs, 21 RBI, and blasted six homeruns.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Vanessa Walle
Phoenix College's Vanessa Walle is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Pitcher of the Week. Walle went 4-0 for the week and went the distance in all of her wins. Walle gave up two earned runs in a 7-2 win over Mesa, gave up one earned run in an 11-1 victory over Scottsdale, gave up one earned run in a 6-1 win over Arizona Western, and pitched a three-hit shutout over Mesa.

Shauna Duarte
Shauna Duarte of Yavapai is the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Player of the Week. Duarte
helped the Lady Riders to a 4-1 record on the week. She posted a .787 (11-16) batting average, scored nine runs, had seven RBI, and belted four homeruns.

Sara Hopwood
Sara Hopwood of Eastern Arizona is the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Pitcher of the Week. Hopwood had two wins on the week for the Gilamonsters, with wins over GateWay and Central Arizona. For the week, she gave up just two earned runs and struck out four.

Dana Goguen
Phoenix College's Dana Goguen is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Player of the Week. Goguen just missed having a perfect week at the plate by going 9-for-10 on the week to help the Lady Bears to a 4-0 week. Goguen also had five RBI and two stolen bases.

Patricia Moreno
Phoenix College's Patricia Moreno is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Pitcher of the Week. Moreno gave up one earned run and three hits on the week for the top ranked
Lady Bears. Moreno pitched a no hitter in a five inning win over South Mountain and a three-hit complete game against Chandler-Gilbert.

Noe Esperas of Eastern Arizona is the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Pitcher of the Week. Esperas
went 3-0 on the week for the Lady Gilamonsters. She won both ends of a doubleheader sweep of Central Arizona by allowing no runs in 10 innings of work.

Chandler-Gilbert's Jenna Mailou is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Player of the Week. Mailou batted .571 (8-for-14) on the week. She had three hits and scored two runs in an 11-9 win over top-ranked Phoenix.

Alex Villallobos of Central Arizona is the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Pitcher of the Week. Villlalobos earned both Vaquera wins during the week against Yavapai. She gave up one earned run and struck out five in a 6-2 win and then allowed no earned runs and struck out five in a 9-1 victory.

Jamie Hennis
Jamie Hennis of Phoenix is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Player of the Week. Hennis batted .667 (6-for-9) on the week and homered in every game she played in for the week to help the Lady Bears remain the #1 ranked team in NJCAA Division 2. Hennis scored seven runs and knocked in eight runs for the week.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Vanessa Walle of Phoenix is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Pitcher of the Week. Walle pitched a one-hit complete game shutout over South Mountain, striking out eight Lady Cougars. She completed the week by allowing no earned runs and striking out seven in a 12-2 win over Paradise Valley.

Patricia Moreno of Phoenix College is the NJCAA Region I Division 2 Pitcher of the Week. Moreno pitched twice last week, earning a pair of wins for the top-ranked Bears. She allowed four hits and an unearned run in a 10-1 win over Mesa. Moreno then tossed a one-hit shutout to beat Glendale 8-0. She struck out five Gauchos in earning the victory
