ACCAC Again Sports Two Softball National Champions — If there was any question remaining, which there should not have been, the top softball programs in the NJCAA reside in Arizona. For the third year in a row, the NJCAA Division I and Division II Ntional Champions are programs in the ACCAC. Pima captured its second Division I crown in three years while Phoenix College won its third straight Division II Championship and fifth in the last seven years. | More on Division I | More on Division II |

Pima Captures Region Championship in Final Day Thriller — #3 seed Pima lost to #1 seed Central Arizona on day one to fall into the consolation bracket. The Pumas responded with a victory over Arizona Western to move into the title round and then defeated Central Arizona, the defending National Champions, twice to take the Region I Division I title and advance to the NJCAA National Championships.. | More |

PC Wins Region Title, Set to Go for Third Straight National Title — The NJCAA's #1 ranked and two-time defending National Champion Bears of Phoenix College swept through the Region I Division II Tournament to advance to their seventh straight National tourney. | More |

Central Arizona Garners Region Player, Coach of the Year —Central Arizona's Jessica Defreitas is the NJCAA Region I Player of the Year while Central Head Coach Craig Nicholson has been selected the NJCAA Region I Coach of the Year. Central Arizona lended four players onm the All-Region I Division I Team while POhoenix College placed five players on the All-Region I Division II Team. Central Arizona, Phoenix Set to Host Region Championships — The two defending Region and National Champions are set to host the 2006 Region I Championships. Central Arizona will host the Division I Championships while Phoenix College will host the Division II Championship tourney. Three ACCAC Players Earn National Player of the Week Honors — The NJCAA has selected Pima's Kelly Nielson as the Division I Softball Player of the Week while choosing Glendale's Kiko Tamashiro and Phoenix' Roxanne Bejarano as the Division II Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively. | More |

SCC Softball Forfeits Six Games, ACCAC Standings Updated — Due to Scottdale's softball program having to forfeit six games, here are the updated ACCAC standings. | More |

Bejarano & Alcocer Share Pitching Honor, Nielson Pounds Way to Hitter of te Week — Phoenix College's Roxanne Bejarano kept the ACCAC honors from being a sweep for the second straight week as she and Pima's Dana Alcocer shared the Pitcher of the Week Award. For Alcocer, it marks the second straight week that she has won the award. Pima's Kelly Nielson hit four homeruns on the week to be selected the ACCAC's Hitter of the Week. | More |

NJCAA Honors Pima Duo with National Honors — In leading Pima to a perfect 4-0 record this past week, Dana Alcocer and Amanda Duran have been named the Division I National Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively. | More |

Pima Pair Sweeps ACCAC Weekly Honors — Pima went 4-0 this past week and its two leaders were named te ACCAC's Pitcher and Hitter of the Week. Dana Alcocer allowed just six hits and struck out five in hurling a pair of shutout victories. At the plate, Amanda Duran homered in three of the four games, including a game winning shot in the seventh inning against Mesa. | More |
