ACCAC athletes won three consolation flight finals at the NJCAA Division I Men's Tennis championships Thursday.
After four days Paradise Valley is in 12th place with 17 points and Mesa is 16th with 13 points. Final places will be determined after championship matches are played Friday.
Mesa was the winner in No. 4 and 5 singles, while Paradise Valley took No. 1 singles.
MCC's Andrew Hoffman defeated Will McCullough, of Meridian, 9-8 (4) at No. 4 and Duncan Mulenga topped Jackson Peoples, of Jones, 9-7. Sam Miyata, of PVCC, captured No. 1 singles with an 8-5 win over Come Bulte, of Harford.
In all, ACCAC athletes reached consolation finals in five flights.
