#5 Arizona Western: The Matadors enter the 2024 season ranked 5th in the nation following a season in which they made the national semifinals for the first time in program history, going 15-2-2.
#18 Eastern Arizona: The Gila Monsters will enter their second season ranked at No. 18 after making an appearance in the Region I title game in their first season of competition last fall.
DII Women's Soccer
#4 Phoenix: The Bears open the season ranked second after going 15-2-3 last season, falling to Johnson County in penalties in the national semifinals.
#12 Scottsdale: The Fighting Artichokes open the season ranked thanks to a 2023 season that saw them go 11-5-2 and 8-2-2 in ACCAC play.
DI Men's Soccer:
#3 Arizona Western: Arizona Western is the only DI men's soccer team in the preseason poll. The Matadors reached the national semifinals and finished the season as the nation's No. 1 ranked team.
DII Men's Soccer:
#2 Phoenix: The Bears went 14-1-4 last season and finished as the national runner-up, losing to Iowa Lakes in penalties in the NJCAA DII Men's Soccer Championship final.
#4 Pima: The Aztecs open the year at No. 4 after going 13-3-1 last season, qualifying for the national tournament, losing to the eventual national champion Iowa Lakes Lakers in pool play.
#12 Mesa: The Thunderbirds open the year as the third ACCAC D2 men's team to be ranked, coming in at No. 12 after going 7-3-5 last season.
