Three Yavapai Players Garner All-American Status — After leading Yavapai to an undefeated season (26-0-0) and the program's second straight National Championship, three Roughriders earned NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-American status. Justin Meram (F, So.) and Francis Khamis (F, So.) each were selected to the First Team, while Sam Hayden (GK, So.) was tabbed for the Second Team.
Yavapai Wins Back-to-Back National Titles — Yavapai (26-0-0) won it second straight National Championship and the seventh in the program's history with a 1-0 victory over San Jacinto College (TX).
Roughriders Take Easy Ride to Title Match — Yavapai scored an impressive 4-1 victory over Garden City CC (KS) (19-2-1) in the semifinal round of the 2008 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The Roughriders will face San Jacinto College (TX) (18-1-2) as they look for their second consecutive and 7th overall National Championship.
Yavapai Cruises in NJCAA Championship Opener — Top-seeded Yavapai (24-0) defeated Schoolcroft College (MI) (18-2-4) 3-1 in the opening round of the 2008 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship.
Yavapai Wins District Title, Advances to Nationals — The Roughriders improved to 23-0-0 and won their 18th West District Championship with a 6-1 victory over North Idaho. Yavapai will make its 18th straight appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament, which will be played in Phoenix from November 20-23. Yavapai has won six National Championships and has 16 final four finishes.
Yavapai Wins Another Region I Championship — Yavapai defeated Pima 1-0 to win its 18th NJCAA Region I Men's Soccer Championship since 1990. The Roughriders, who are 22-0 this season and ranked #1 in the nation, will host North Idaho College on November 8th in the West District Championship Match. | More |
Pima & Yavapai to Meet for Title — Top seed Yavapai and #2 seed Pima will meet for the championship in the 2008 NJCAA Region I Men's Soccer Tournament after both won easily in the semifinal round. | More |

Chandler-Gilbert Advances to Face Yavapai — #4 seed Chandler-Gilbert defeated #5 Arizona Western 2-1 to advance to the semifinal round of the 2008 NJCAA Region I Men's Soccer Championships. The Coyotes will face top-seeded Yavapai on Thursday (Oct. 30) at 6 p.m. | More |
