Yavapai Advances to Nationals...AGAIN — Yavapai College (21-2-0) defeated North Idaho College 4-2 for the NJCAA West District Championship on Saturday. With the victory, Yavapai qualifies for their 17th NJCAA National Tournament in Tyler, Texas, Nov. 15-18. Yavapai (414-29-13 all-time) has captured five national championships, six national runner-up awards and finished in the top four nationally 15 times since 1990.
Yavapai to Face North Idaho for District Championship — Yavapai College (20-2-0), which won the Region I Championship for their 17th Region I title since 1990, will face North Idaho College for the West District Championship and right to advance to the National Tournament in Tyler, Texas. The district title match is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3rd, at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott.
