Yavapai Bows Out of NJCAA Championships After PK Losses — Officially, Yavapai recorded a pair of ties in the 2006 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championships. Unfortunately for the Roughriders both ties resulted in losses in penalty kicks to boot them from the tourney. | more |
Yavapai Advances to NJCAA National Championships — Yavapai defeated North Idaho 2-0 in the West District Championship Game to advance to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament, which begins in Tyler, Texas, on November 16th. This is the 16th trip to the National Championships in the past 17 years for the Roughriders, who have won five titles and placed in the top four 15 times since 1990.

Grant Scores for AZ Western, PC's Kim Post Rare Shutout —The ACCAC Player of the Week honor went to Arizona Western's James Grant after four goals in two matches.
