Yavapai Falls in NJCAA National Championship Match —Yavapai advanced to the Championship Match of the 2005 NJCAA Division I National Tournament before falling 3-1 to Georgia Perimeter College. The Roughriders defeated Illinois Central College 3-1 in the opening round and Louisburg College 3-2 in the semifinals to advance to the title game. Michael Randolph and Rudy Duarte of Yavapai were named to the All-Tournament Team. More
Yavapai to Represent ACCAC at D1 National Championships —Yavapai enters the 2005 NJCAA Division 1 National Championships as the #3 seed. The Roughriders will face #7 seed College of DuPage (IL) in the opening round on Thursday, November 17th, at 12:00 p.m. Yavapai advanced to the Nationals after defeating Northern Idaho 4-1 in the District Championship. Yavapai Wins Sixth Consecutive Championship — Yavapai scored a 3-0 victory over Pima to capture its sixth consecutive ACCAC/NJCAA Region I Championship. More

Pima, Chandler-Gilbert Advance in NJCAA Region I Playoffs —#6 seed Pima upset #3 Arizona Western 2-1 and #4 Chandler-Gilbert slipped by #5 Scottsdale 5-3 in a shootout to advance to the semifinals of the 2005 NJCAA Region I Men's Soccer Championships. Pima will travel to #2 Mesa and Chandler-Gilbert will face top-seed Yavapai on Wednesday. More

Yavapai's Pantalione, Becerra Selected ACCAC's Best for 2005 — Yavapai Head Coach Mike Pantalione has been honored as the NJCAA Region I/ACCAC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year while his star player, Obed Becerra, was tabbed the NJCAA Region I/ACCAC Player of the Year. Yavapai placed five players on the All-ACCAC Teams while Arizona Western was secondwith four players receiving post season awards. More
