ACCAC Player of the Week
(week ending September 4)

TODD BROWN
Yavapai

Todd Brown from Yavapai is the first ACCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week of the 2004 campaign. Brown helped Yavapai to three wins last week. He opened play by netting a goal in the Roughrider's 6-1 win over South Mountain. Brown then tallied six goals in a 13-0 win against Scott and completed the week with a goal in a 4-1 win over Marshalltown. Brown became the first player in Yavapai history to score six goals in a game.


ACCAC Player of the Week
(week ending September 11)

ROBERT ARMSTRONG
Yavapai

Yavapai's Robert Armstrongis the ACCAC Player of the Week for the week ending September 11, 2004. Armstrong, 2003's First Team All-American keeper, shutout both of the Roughrider's opponents last week. He stopped Phoenix 2-0 and then made six saves in a 1-0 with nationally ranked Chandler/Gilbert. It was Armstrong's fourth shutout already this season.

Chandler-Gilbert's tandem of Brandon Swartzendruber and Esteban Bayona are the ACCAC Co-Players of the Week.

Swartzendruber tallied two assists in the Coyotes win over Paradise Valley and then scored five goals against Glendale in a 6-3 Chandler-Gilbert victory.

Bayona scored four goals against Paradise Valley and struck for a goal and a pair of assists in the win over the Gauchos.

ACCAC Co-Players of the Week
(week ending September 25)

STEVE SPENCER
Paradise Valley

 

Paradise Valley's Steve Spencer is the ACCAC Player of the Week for the week ending September 25th. Spencer helped the Pumas to a pair of ACCAC wins last week. Against Arizona Western, he scored a goal and had three assists. In the Puma's win over Phoenix, Spencer had a goal and an assist. Paradise Valley is currently tied for 4th place with in the Conference with last week's two victories.

DAN LOWE
Yavapai

 

Yavapai's Dan Lowe is the ACCAC Player of the Week for the week ending October 2. Lowe, a defender from Mesa, helped the Roughriders by scoring a goal in all three victories during the week. He scored a goal in a 3-2 win at Paradise Valley and added a goal in a 2-1 victory at Pima. Lowe completed the week with a goal and pair of assists in a 7-0 shutout of Scottsdale.

Yavapai's Todd Brown is the ACCAC Player of the Week for the week ending October 10. Brown, who also won the first ACCAC weekly award of this season back on September 4, helped the Roughriders to two wins last week. He had a goal and assist in a 6-0 win over Arizona Western and then netted a hat trick in just over seven minutes and added an assist in a 7-0 victory over Phoenix.

ACCAC Goalkeeper of the Week
(week ending October 10)

DOUG DEVEREAUX
Scottsdale

Scottsdale's Doug Devereaux is the ACCAC Goal Keeper of the Week for the week ending October 10. Devereaux recorded a pair of shutouts this week in helping the Artichokes to a 1-0 over Mesa and a 2-0 win over Chandler/Gilbert. In the win over the Mesa, Devereaux had 12 saves and he had 13 more against Chandler/Gilbert.

 


ACCAC Players of the Week
(week ending October 17)

BRANDON LESPRON
Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley's Brandon Lespron is the ACCAC Player of the Week for the week ending October 17. Lespron, from Cave Creek, Arizona, helped the Pumas to three conference wins last week. He scored two goals in a PVCC 2-0 win over Scottsdale. Lespron added a goal in a 4-3 win over Chandler-Gilbert and had netted another goal and had an assist in a 3-1 win over South Mountain.
