South Mountain wins NJCAA men's golf championship again; Glendale sixth

  South Mountain has won the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf national championship yet again and the Cougars' Cecil Belisle has captured the individual title.

  SMCC pulled away from the pack to score a 19-stroke win over Miss. Gulf Coast with an 1183 total. Glendale finished sixth at 1212.

  Belisle carded an even-par 288 total to claim medal honors by three strokes over Geronimo Narizzano, of Southeast.

  GCC's top finisher was Matthew Creighton who tied for fourth with a 293.

  SMCC's Ethan Klose was sixth posting a 294. The second highest finisher for the Gauchos was Porter Brackett who tied for 16th place at 299.

  The only independent player from the ACCAC was Paradise Valley's Beau Autrey who closed in a tie for  36th place at 306.
