WSFL DEFENSIVE Scottsdale's Sam Liebman is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Liebman helped lead the Artichoke defense with eight tackles, five for losses, and three sacks of Pima's quarterback in a 48-8 non-conference win over the Aztecs in Tucson. |

WSFL SPECIAL TEAMS Mesa's Alex Jentzen and Scottsdale's Jamorris Warren are the WSFL Special Teams Co-Players of the Week. Jentzen scored Mesa's only touchdown as he returned a kickoff 90 yards. Warren had four punt returns for a 27-yard average and a touchdown in Scottsdale's win at Pima. |

WSFL OFFENSIVE Jimmy Bevell led Mesa to a big victory to earn the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week honor. Bevell threw for 147 yards and three touchdowns as the Thunderbirds defeated Pima 54-0 in the WSFL opener for both schools. |
WSFL DEFENSIVE Jordan Brown of Snow was literaly all over the field for the Badgers to earn the WSFL's Defensive Player of the Week award. Brown helped Snow to a 31-25 WSFL win over Arizona Western with 13 solo and six assisted tackles. He also broke up two passes. |

WSFL DEFENSIVE Arizona Western's Joel Walton is the WSFL Defensive player of the Week. Walton led the Matadors defensive charge with four solo tackles, three quarterback sacks and a recovered fumble. He helped Arizona Western double-up on Scottsdale 28-14. |

WSFL SPECIAL TEAMS Joe Phillips of Snow has been selected the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Phillips hit five extra points and nailed a 43-yard field goal to help Sonw to a 45-13 victory over Glendale. He has not missed an extra point or a field goal on the season. |

WSFL DEFENSIVE Snow's Chad Wilson is the WSFL Defensive Player of the Week. Wilson helped the Badger defense shut down the Scottsdale offense in a 35-7 win on the road. Wilson recovered an Artichoke fumble and had three sacks on the evening. |
