Eastern Arizona to Play in First Ever Chihuahua Bowl — Eastern Arizona will take its 9-2 record into the post season for the first time in school history when the Gila Monsters take on the Mexican All-Stars in the first-ever Chihuahua Bowl in Chihuahua Bowl. The match-up will take place at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th as a lead-up to the annual Aztec Bowl on December 8th. | more |

Mesa Wins Valley of the Sun Bowl, Snow Falls in National Title Game — Mesa, ranked #8 entering the game, defeated #9 Fort Scott 47-31 to win the 2007 VBalley of the Sun Bowl. Riley & Clawson Selected WSFL's Best in 2007 — Eastern Arizona's Pat Riley, the NJCAA Region I C-Offensive Player of the Year, has been tabbed the WSFL Offensive Player of the Year for 2007. Snow College's Coleby Clawson is the WSFL's Defensive Player of the Year. Snow, which ended the regular season as the NJCAA's top-ranked squad, placed 11 players on the All-WSFL teams. | more |

NJCAA Region I Post-Season Honors Announced — Dan Dunn led Mesa to an 8-2 regular season record to garner NJCAA Region I Coach of the Year honors. Eastern Arizona's Pat Riley and Mesa's Dax Crum are Region I's Co-Offensive Players of the Year, while Rico Brooks of Eastern and Tevita Finau of Phoenix were selected the Co-Defensive Players of the Week. | more |

WSFL Recognizes Darrius Jackson, Jeromy Jones & Regan Buck— Eastern Arizona's Darrius Jackson ran for 179 yards to earn the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week award. Arizona Western's Jeromy Jones picked up the WSFL Defensive Player of the Year honor after posting 11 tackles and an interception. Regan Buck helped Sno College remain unbeaten and earned the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week honor. | more |

PC's House & Jeffrey, Glendale's Beck Honored by WSFL —Despite a 41-38 loss to #7 ranked Eastern Arizona, Phoenix College's Timmy House and Treg Jeffrey turned in performances worthy enough of being selected the WSFL's Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively. The Gauchos Myron Beck was selected the Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Gauchos past Scottsdale with three interceptions. | more|

WSFL Now with Four Top-20 Programs — Snow College (3-0) remans ranked #2 in the latest NJCAA National Football Poll released September 11th. Eastern Arizona (2-0) moved up from #10 to #7 after defeating Glendale(1-1), which fell from #7 to #14. Cracking the top-20 for the first time this season is Scottsdale (2-0), entering at #17. | more |

WSFL Lands Three Teams in Top-10 — Led by Snow's second place ranking, the WSFL is again proving to be one of the nation's top football conferences with three teams ranked among the top-10 in the nation. Glendale's Gauchos are ranked #7 and Eastern Arizona is ranked #10. Also receiving votes for the top-20 is Scottsdale.

NMMI's 60-0 Win Leads Pair to WSFL Honors — New Mexico Military's 60-o victory to open the 2007 season led the way for Ovie Esalomi and Kevin Perez to earn the WSFL's Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week honors, respectively. Four WSFL Programs Kick-Off the 2007 Season on August 25th — Snow College will travel to the Air Force JV, Glendale will host the Phoenix Rebels, Eastern travels to the New Mexico Crush and Pima host Verde Valley on the opening day of the 2007 season.
