DI BASEBALL

PITCHER: Traig Oughton– Yavapai – Oughton threw his second no-hitter of the season last week, throwing nine no-hit innings and striking out five in a win over Eastern Arizona. 

POSITION PLAYER: Justin Cherrington - Yavapai - Cherrington batted .666, going 10-for-15 with a homer and nine runs batted in, in the Roughriders' five games last week, helping Yavapai to four wins. 

DII BASEBALL

PITCHER:  Owen Harper– Paradise Valley – Harper allowed one earned run on four hits in eight innings while striking out six batters to lead the Pumas to a 5-1 win over Glendale. 

POSITION PLAYER: Bryan Lorenz – South Mountain – Lorenz went 7-for-15 with two doubles, two home runs, and 10 runs batted in as the Cougars swept both Chandler-Gilbert and Mesa.
