DI BASEBALL

PITCHER:  Andrew Kaplin – Southern Nevada – Kaplin pitched two innings of relief without allowing a run, striking out a pair of batters in wins over Central Arizona last week.  Kaplin earned a save in each outing.

POSITION PLAYER: Chaz McNelis– Southern Nevada – McNelis went 5-for-8 at the plate, doubling twice and driving in five runs to help the Coyotes sweep the Vaqueros last weekend.

DII BASEBALL

PITCHER:  David Galindo – South Mountain – Galindo tossed six shutout innings in an 8-0 win over Gateway on Friday, striking out six batters and allowing just three hits.  

POSITION PLAYER: Raul Parada– South Mountain – Parada went 7-for-15 with three doubles and drove in five runs as the Cougars went 2-2 in games against Southern Nevada and GateWay. Parada had three straight two-hit games.
