WOMEN'S SOCCER SHOWS FIGHTING SPIRIT IN ROAD LOSS TO GLENDALE

The Pumas faced a tough challenge on the road against Glendale Community College Tuesday night, ultimately falling 8-0. Despite the scoreline, the Pumas demonstrated their growth and improvement throughout the match.

Coach Uriarte acknowledged the team's effort, stating, "We are just now getting some of our injured players back in the mix, and we use every opportunity to get better. Although the result wasn't what we wanted, I'm pleased the team continues to work hard and stay unified."

The Pumas saw strong performances from several players, including goalkeepers Sydney King and Magdalena Eastwood, who combined for eight saves against a potent Gaucho attack. The team also showed positive signs on the offensive end, generating several scoring opportunities throughout the match.

The Pumas will look to build on their performance as they return home for their season opener against Scottsdale Community College on Friday, September 13 at 10:00am. The team is eager to take the field in front of their home crowd and showcase their continued development.
