The Cougars traveled to New Mexico for the Thunderbird Classic. Their trip included two games against out of town Junior College teams. Friday night they faced the first opponent, The Phoenix College Bears. 

CBC outpaced the Bears for the entirety of the game assisting on 20 of their 35 made baskets to defeat the Bears 97-63. The Cougars shot 52% from the field and 36% from the three point line. Their defense also locked in to turnover the Bears 29 times, 18 coming from steals. 

The Fighting Cougars were led by Sophomore's Craig Snowden (13) and true Freshman Jace Jones (13). Jeremiah Anderson added 12 points, Treylon Swayzer put in 11 points and Reyce Allen chipped in with 10 points. 

The win moves the Cougars to 6-1 on the season and will face New Mexico Junior College tomorrow night to round out the weekend before heading home Saturday evening.
