The Bears fall to No. 14 in NJCAA D2 softball rankings

Softball faced a setback this week, sliding down to No. 14 in the rankings after previously holding the No. 3 spot. The Bears faced a tough loss against Pima last Saturday, bringing their overall record to 7-4.

Game 1: Pima scored the first seven runs of the game as they took control in the early innings.

Game 2: Three runs by the Aztecs in the 7th inning completed the sweep over the Bears.

The Bears look to regain their momentum and return to their winning ways this week as the team is gearing up to face Chandler-Gilbert (4-2)and Pima (9-6) once again. 

The Bears will host Chandler-Gilbert in a double header. First game starts at 12:00 pm. The game will be broadcasted live on the GameChanger App. For those planning to attend the games in person, admission prices are set at $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students with ID, and $3.00 for seniors.

The Bears will then hit the road March 2 in an ACCAC conference doubleheader to face Pima. Firts game starts at 12:00 pm.
