TRINIDAD, Colo. – The Trinidad State College women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2024 campaign against No. 18 Eastern Arizona on Saturday afternoon at Central Park.

The Lady Gila Monsters dominated from the start by scoring the first goal of the game at the 5-minute mark. Eastern Arizona ended the match with 16 goals off 42 attempts and 14 assists.

Lindsay Heras (Fr., Rio Rancho, N.M.) attempted the lone shot on goal for the Trojans while keeper Stephanie Bak (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) tallied 26 saves.

TSC will return the pitch this coming Saturday as the squad heads up to Douglas, Arizona for a 4 pm match against Cochise College.
