The Phoenix College women's soccer team defeated Pima to win their second straight Region I Division II title.
- The No. 1 seeded Bears defeated the No. 3 Pima Aztecs. This was the second straight year Phoenix College has faced Pima in the finals
- The Bears got on the board in the 11th minute with a goal from Justyce Smith. They took advantage of a foul inside the box and Chloe Corral scored on a penalty kick in the 41st minute.
- The Aztecs made it interesting and cut it to a one-goal deficit when Pima converted on her shot in the 49th minute to make it 2-1.
- The Bears responded five minutes later when Ariany Mapula scored in the 54th minute.
- Chloe Corral received the MVP award for the Region I tournament
