YUMA, Ariz. – The Arizona Western College Matadors Women's Basketball team (20-3, 11-2) cruised to a 100-14 win over Community Christian College (0-15, 0-12) on Wednesday evening at the House Gymnasium to extend its winning streak to four games.
Dmitra Manouseli scored a season-high 21 points to lead the Matadors past the Saints on Wednesday evening, going 10-for-12 from the field.
Isabella Molina and Jordan Labrador-Hallett each scored 18 points in the win with Molina hitting four made three-pointers in five attempts.
The Matadors outscored the Saints 36-5 in the first quarter and held the Saints off the scoreboard in the third quarter.
Mable Doumbia scored 16 points and Iria Briones added 15 while Nyah Hardy scored 12. All six Matadors who appeared in the game scored in double-figures in the win.
