No. 3 MCC Women's Basketball pulled away in the second half against Chandler-Gilbert to earn their 9th overall win and their 4th conference victory as they defeated the Coyotes, 62-30.

It was a slow first quarter for Mesa as they scored just nine points in the first 10 minutes. Though MCC would pick it up in the second quarter they would shoot just 29.4% from the field and 22% from deep in the opening half. Mesa would take a 22-17 lead into the halftime locker room.
