The Lady Monsters had a solid performance at the Aztec Classic, coming out undefeated in the tournament.
In the opening match-up against Eastern Wyoming, The Lady Monsters pulled out a 62-51 victory. Leading the game were three sophomores, Elva Chaves 12pts, Gracie Sorensen 14 pts, and Laini Dahlin 11pts.
Game two brought more of a challenge for the Lady Monsters running up against South Plains. The Lady Monsters rallied for a 54-39 win, showcasing resilience on the court.
Day three saw the Lady Monsters wrapping up a successful run at the Aztec Classic with a final score of 76-39 over Bismark State.
The Lady Monsters will play on the road again on January 3rd against Glendale Community College. Go Monsters!
