Men's Tennis dominates Imperial Valley in season opener

Mesa Men's Tennis kicked their 2025 season off on the right foot as they earned a clean sweep of Imperial Valley on Monday, 9-0.
The T-Birds were dominant from the top to the bottom of their lineup as their doubles and singles each ended their matches without needing a tiebreaker.
Head coach Feroz Rast is pleased with his team's ability to come out ready to compete in their big win.
"Great win for us to start the spring season. Very proud of the energy and focus everyone played with today. We came ready to dominate and it was big to clinch all the doubles points on both sides. Excited to continue our growth next week," said Rast.
Mesa will have their hands full in their next match as they take on defending the Region I champion, Paradise Valley on Feb. 18.
