WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

DI:  Jessie Joaquim– Cochise – Joaquim scored 23 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in the Apaches' lone game last week, helping Cochise to an 86-80 win over Southern Nevada.  

DII: Kylie Sours-Miller– Pima – Sours-Miller earned her fourth award of the season, averaging 19 points and nine rebounds. Sours Miller scored 17 points and had eight boards in a win over Phoenix before posting a double-double with 21 points 10 rebounds and seven blocks in a win over Chandler-Gilbert.   

MEN'S BASKETBALL

CO-DI: Edwin Suarez  – Arizona Western – Suarez scored 35 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in two Matadors’ wins. Suarez scored 23 points and had nine rebounds in a win over nationally ranked Eastern Arizona before finishing the week by scoring 12 points and hauling in 10 boards against Community Christian.

 CO-DI: Ben Henderson– Cochise – Scored 25 points and hit the game-winning three in the Apaches’ 92-90 win over Southern Nevada. Henderson went 4-of-6 from the three-point line and grabbed seven rebounds.  

DII: Cohenj Gonzales – Pima – Gonzales poured in 39 points in two Aztecs’ wins last week, helping Pima to a 98-89 win over Phoenix by scoring 22 points and scoring 17 in a 95-55 win over Chandler-Gilbert.
