WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

DI:  Ashlynn Chlarson – Eastern Arizona – Chlarson averaged a double-double, helping the Gila Monsters to three wins last week. Chlarson scored 21 points and had 19 boards in a win over Utah State Eastern before scoring 13 points with 18 rebounds in a win over Colorado Northwestern and finished the week with 14 points and 16 rebounds against Gillette.

DII: Nashelle Ponds – Phoenix: Ponds totaled 42 points to help the Bears to a 1-1 week. Ponds scored 16 points and had four steals in a win over Lethbridge Poly Tech before scoring 26 points in the Bears loss to Williston State.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

DI: Kaleb Myers – Arizona Western – Myers totaled 41 points and grabbed 24 rebounds to help the Matadors win three games in four days. The freshman scored 10 points and had six boards in a win over No. 15 ranked College of Southern Idaho before posting a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a win over GCU. Myers finished the week with 17 points and eight boards in a win over Laramie County.

DII: Anthony Kangah – Phoenix – Kangah scored 74 points in two games last week, starting the week with a 33-point performance against Gillette before scoring 41 in a narrow loss to Williston State connecting on a 11 three-pointers.
