ACCAC Basketball NJCAA Rankings - Week 3

DI WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

#14 Cochise: The Apaches moved up to No. 14 after winning their lone game last week, going on the road to beat Glendale 70-59 on Saturday. Cochise has won back-to-back games and owns a 4-1 record.

#15 Eastern Arizona: The Gila Monsters split a pair of games last week, starting the week with a 65-61 loss to Arizona Western at home in overtime before going on the road to beat Yavapai 90-42 on Saturday afternoon.

#25 Arizona Western: The Matadors won their lone game last week, going on the road to beat nationally ranked Eastern Arizona in overtime on Wednesday. The Matadors have won two straight games and are 5-1 this season.

 

DII WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

#9 Mesa: Mesa comes in at No. 9 after winning twice last week, beating Chandler-Gilbert 54-29 at home on Wednesday before heading on the road to beat Scottsdale 57-46 to finish the week 2-0.

#10 Pima: The Aztecs pushed their winning streak to three consecutive games last week, beating both Phoenix and Chandler-Gilbert. Pima started the week with a 74-65 win over Phoenix College before picking up a 64-41 win on the road over the Coyotes.

RV Scottsdale: The Fighting Artichokes received votes this week after going 1-1 in two games. Scottsdale opened the week with a 56-51 win over Salt Lake before dropping a 57-46 game to Mesa on Saturday.

DI MEN'S BASKETBALL

#24 Eastern Arizona: The Gila Monsters entered the poll after winning two games to open conference play. Eastern Arizona started the week by beating Arizona Western 58-47 at home on Wednesday before going on the road to beat Yavapai 85-81 on Saturday.

DII MEN'S BASKETBALL

#7 Pima: The Aztecs stayed undefeated by beating both Phoenix and South Mountain last week. Pima started the week with a 113-59 win over Phoenix before beating the Coyotes 78-56 on the road on Saturday.
