DI Volleyball

Offensive: Melanie Merrill – Eastern Arizona – The freshman from Oro Valley, Ariz., tallied 8 kills in four sets last week to lead the Gila Monsters to a pair of wins. Merrill had eight kills in the 3-0 win over Central Arizona in the Gila Monsters' second win of the week

Defensive: Kadence Moore – Eastern Arizona – The freshman from Chandler, Ariz., led the Gila Monsters in digs in their 3-0 win over Central Arizona last week. Moore recorded those eight digs in just three sets to help the Gila Monsters to their second win of the week.

D2 Volleyball

Offensive: Kennedy Dastrup – Chandler-Gilbert – The sophomore had 51 kills in three matches last week, helping the Coyotes win three matches in four days. Dastrup has 11 kills in the first match of the week in a 3-0 win over Glendale before posting 21 kills in a 3-1 win over Phoenix while recording six blocks including three solo blocks. Dastrup finished the week with 19 kills in a 3-1 win over South Mountain.

Defensive: Mikelle McAfee – South Mountain – The freshman from Casa Grande, Ariz., had 74 digs in three matches last week to help the Cougars to two wins. McAfee started the week with 21 digs in a 3-1 win over Phoenix on Sept. 20 before tying her season-high on Friday with 28 digs. McAfee finished the week with 25 digs in a 3-1 loss to Chandler-Gilbert.
