The ACCAC has announced the baseball and softball players of the week for 4/17 - 4/23.

Baseball

DI Pitcher - Braden Gluth - Eastern Arizona - The freshman from Santa Teresa, NM, allowed just five hits and zero runs in seven innings pitched. He also had five strikeouts and earned the win against Central Arizona. This is Gluth's third POTW honor this season.

DII Pitcher - Patrick Morris - Chandler-Gilbert - The sophomore from Chandler allowed just four hits and one run in nine innings pitched. He also had seven strikeouts and earned the win against Paradise Valley.

DII Position Player - Macs Carrillo - Gateway - The freshman from Mesa had eight hits, 11 runs, and six RBIs on 17 at-bats last week. The Geckos won all four games against Phoenix College and Mesa.

Softball

DI Pitcher - Jessica Mercado - Central Arizona - The sophomore from Casa Grande allowed just 10 hits and three runs in 11 innings pitched. She also had seven strikeouts and won both games that she started in. This is Mercado's fifth POTW honor this season.

DI Position Player - Ariana "Gigi" Garcia - Arizona Western - The freshman from Marana had nine hits, seven runs, 11 RBIs, and four home runs on 12 at-bats last week. The lady Matadors won all four games against Glendale and South Mountain. This is Garcia's second POTW honor this season.
