The ACCAC has announced the baseball and softball players of the week for 4/2 - 4/8.
Baseball
DII Position Player - Zach Valentine - Glendale - The freshman from Cactus Shadows H.S. had seven hits, 12 RBIs, six runs, and four home runs in four games last week for the Gauchos.
Softball
DI Pitcher - Emily Gaboa - Arizona Western - The freshman from Calipatria, CA, allowed 18 hits and nine runs in 18 innings pitched. Gaboa also had 15 strikeouts and won all three games.
DI Position Player - Jessie Garcia - Arizona Western - The freshman from Rio Rancho, NM, had 14 hits, 14 RBIs, six runs, and four home runs in six games last week. The lady Matadors won all six games.
