Melbourne, FL - The Arizona Western men's soccer team fell to Monroe College (NY), 2-0, in the NJCAA Div. I National Championship last Saturday night.

The No. 3 Mustangs outshot the No. 7 Matadors, 9-8, on shots on goal and scored both their goals in the second half.

Earlier on in the tournament, AWC won Pool B to advance to the semifinals, where they edged out Salt Lake, 2-1.

AWC (18-3) wraps up their season as the national runner-ups for the second straight season while Monroe (14-1-3) wins their second national title in program history.
