The NJCAA has announced its 2025-26 preseason basketball rankings, with several ACCAC programs earning national recognition after strong 2024-25 campaigns.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Division I
No. 3 Eastern Arizona College – Ranked No. 3 after capturing the Region I title and advancing to the Final Four of the NJCAA DI Women's Basketball Championship. The Gila Monsters finished the season 28-7 (13-4 ACCAC).
No. 17 Arizona Western College – Ranked No. 17 following an At-Large bid to the NJCAA DI Championship, where the Lady Matadors fell to Dodge City in the second round. AWC finished 26-5 (16-2 ACCAC).
Division II
No. 2 Pima Community College – Ranked No. 2 after a 29-6 (15-3 ACCAC) season that included a Region I DII title and a National Runner-Up finish.
No. 6 Mesa Community College – Ranked No. 6 after posting a 25-10 (17-1 ACCAC) mark and advancing to the second round of the NJCAA DII Championship.
No. 21 Scottsdale Community College – Ranked No. 21 following a 17-10 (13-5 ACCAC) season that ended in the Region I Semifinals against Pima.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Division I
No. 15 Eastern Arizona College – Ranked No. 15 after winning the Region I Finals over Arizona Western College before falling to Snow College in the West District Championship. EAC closed the season 29-4 (16-2 ACCAC).
Division II
No. 3 Pima Community College – Ranked No. 3 after a dominant 35-1 (18-0 ACCAC) campaign that featured a Region I title and a third-place national finish.
